About Kids Help Phone

Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only 24/7 e-mental health service offering free, confidential support to young people in English and French. In fact, they’ve provided support over 11.6 million times to Canadian youth since January 2020 – a key indicator of the mental health landscape in Canada. Their purpose is to improve the lives and wellbeing of Canadian youth by providing a safe and trusted place for young people in any moment of crisis or need.

"Thank you for choosing to spend your free time helping strangers through a screen. Even the most simple sentences for you could mean more than you know, and they do, so please remember that. You're the first person to make me feel heard in a very long time, and we only exchanged a few texts. Keep being good, I hope one day I'll have the energy to do the same." - A Kids Help Phone User
