THIS ONE NEEDS TO BE DOUBLE THE SIZE OF OTHERS (3).jpg

On November 8, 2024, we held our second Eastern Region Fundraising event at Salle de Quilles Fleury. Fun and camaraderie filled the lanes as tenants, partners and staff enjoyed an afternoon of spirited bowling. The event was made even more exciting with snacks and treats provided by sponsors IGA, Metro and Fleury Bowling, a photobooth from Vivaprod, and incredible raffle prizes.

Beyond the lanes, this charitable event saw our Eastern community come together to raise an incredible $77,000+ for the Foundation and Community Food Centres Canada – raising more than our first-year! We were honoured to be joined by Marie-Claude Morin Ouellet from Community Food Centres Canada, who shared key information about f
ood insecurity across Canada and their important work and mission  – we know the funds raised are going to make an important impact on food insecurity in Canada.

Congratulations to all our trophy and raffle winners, and a sincere thank you to all participants and sponsors - especially the FCR employees who volunteered their time to make this event a reality. Together, we made a meaningful impact while having a great time, and we look forward to hosting again next year!
